In Novembre 2013, E. and I went in Chamrousse ski resort in order to enjoy the first snows. We walked on the ski runs and in other Chamrousse's areas.
Below are some pictures.
Chamrousse l'été / Summer in Chamrousse
This is not the first (neither the last) article I'll write about Chamrousse. It's a ski resort located at 30 minutes by car from where I live, my grandmother owns a flat there, so I often go, with friends of with my boyfriend.
In July 2012, Nathalie invited herself came to spend a week-end.
We went hiking.
The first day, we went to the Achard Lake, then to the Col de l'Infernet.
The day after, we did a longer walk until the Robert Lakes. We started from Roche Béranger (which means that we went up to the top of the mountain, then we went down on the valley on the other side to see the lakes, then we went up again to the Cross, then we went down again to join Roche Béranger).
Talking about going to the Cross at the top of the mountain. Some go there using a cable-car. This is cheating ! To see a lake, you have to deserve it. This is not for bimbos with stiletto heels !
It would be funny if the cable-car stopped working when some arrive at the top. Sadistic laugh.
I've done these walks so many times ! Next time I'll have to go to other lakes. There are a lot, so for sure I'll find some.
Well. Let's start with the Achard Lake.
I shot many flowers during this week-end.
The day after, going to the Robert Lakes.
I'm resting while Nathalie went to meet some guys in order to borrow them a nail-clipper. Her foot was bleeding. She does anything to draw attention on herself ! ;)
Nathalie, au loin.
Nathalie, exhausted (private joke).
We also saw a marmot. Nathalie took the picture because her zoom was better than mine.

Chamrousse en automne / Autumn in Chamrousse
Salut !

Hi !
I keep developing the "walks in Chamrousse"'s theme. That time, it was in the middle of Octobre, and if you have read the previous article, you have probably noticed that the weather has become much colder !
It was during an afternoon, just after a job interview : I swap my "city clothes and shoes" with comfortable trainers and a warm jacket !
I liked the beautiful light and the frost. However, my hands and I didn't like so much the low temperature.

I attended a miracle : I saw a divine apparition !

Chamrousse ; randonnée autour des lacs / Chamrousse : hiking around some lakes

I keep catching up on all the articles I have to publish.
In September, with E., we went in Chamrousse to relax and to do some hiking.
We went to several lakes, and at the end it was quite a long walk.

lt's strange to see the chairlifts without snow ! It's also interesting to see how is the place we use to go skiing, but not in Winter. It's so different !

)
Ladies and gentlemen, first step achieved ! Here we are, to the Lake called "Lac Achard", where many people go. During the Summer times, people use to swim inside. Not in winter, to understand why, click here !
(Picture shot by E. because we can see him on my photo : I preserve his privacity on the Net ! Until now...

D'autres petits lacs jalonnent le parcours...
Other cute small lates line the path...
We were surprised, because the landscape continually changed : sometimes, there were many plants and trees, sometimes, it was almost "lunar".
As Caroline, a good friend of mine said once, "when you're in the mountainside, you have to be serious concerning times schedules" ! And she's right ! The weather changes very quickky, and suddenly. You can compare the nice blue sky of the first pictures with the one below to understand !
Les Lacs Robert...
The lakes called "Lacs Robert"...
The cold had arrived, so we were very motivated to climb up !
